The starting line is on the west side of Fairlawn Plaza
Shopping Center on Chelsea Drive just south of the 22nd Place entrance to the
shopping center. The course starts by heading south on Chelsea Drive, turning
west onto 25th Street proceeding over the I-470 bypass, turn south onto
Arrowhead Road passing the one-mile mark before going through 29th Street
following Arrowhead Road as it curves around into 33rd Street heading east.
Continue east on 33rd Street just past the two-mile mark and turn south onto
Fairlawn Road, follow Fairlawn Road south turning west onto 37th Street, turn
south onto Belle Avenue, turn east just past the third mile onto Clarion Park
Drive following it as it curves around heading south. At 38th Street turn west
proceeding through Belle Avenue, which is the highest point in Clarion Hills and
after proceeding down the hill turn northwest onto Spring Creek Lane going
around the circle median, turn west at 37th Street leaving the Clarion
neighborhood.
The four-mile mark is before Wanamaker Road and the course continues heading
west through the 37th and Wanamaker intersection, turn south onto Nottingham
Road and follow it past mile five as it turns west and becomes 40th Street. Turn
south off 40th Street at Urish Road and continue heading south on Urish Road for
the next three and one-half miles with mile six just before 45th Street, mile
seven just before 53rd Street, the eight-mile mark just before 61st Street,
after which the pavement ends for the next four miles. Just past the ninth mile
turn west onto 69th Street . The ten-mile mark is located on Indian Hills Road
shortly after turning south off 69th Street, continue south on Indian Hills Road
two miles turning west onto 85th Street, which is back to pavement and the
twelve-mile location shortly after turning that corner, turn south onto Harrison
Street upon entering Auburn and pass the thirteen-mile location, turn west onto
11th Street to the finish near the southeast corner of the Auburn Presbyterian
Church.
