Boston Marathon Monday, April 21st
On Monday, April 21st the Boston Marathon will be contested, with it's start in the small New England town of Hopkinton and finish in the shadows of the Hancock Building in Boston's Back Bay. Patriot's Day will mark the 112th running of the world's oldest and most prestigious marathon. An added benefit to the weekend's festivities is the womens Olympic Trials Marathon will be held the previous day in Boston.
A number of Sunflower Striders will be running Boston this year, including a few first timers. All competitors' progress during the race can be monitored online via the marathon's website at www.baa.org.
