SSRC Board Meeting, January, 2012
7:00 p.m., Bakers Dozen
Attendees: Paul, Jared, Norma, Brad, Marla, Mary Anne, Becky, Justin
The meetings focus was on preparation and remaining activities for the Topeka to Auburn Event but a few general topics were discussed:
T2A General updates:
Dick Ross ready for photos
Packet pick up Thursday and Friday then on Sat before the run
Access to building at night before put items in Kiosk. Will have to set up tables as Kiosk is booked.
Fairlawn will open it at 8 am Saturday
Asked for 6 tables and 12 chairs
Men get large socks women get medium
Need vests for course marshals as well as Parking and finish line people
1 person at each aid stations should have one
Norma needs parade permit (Justin gave it to her)
Get Vivian and team to clean up Fairlawn and get items to finish line
Water for finish – Bottles Jared will take
Bananas at finish to school with pretzels
Bring GA and tables to school when done
Set up bag drop table at west doors.
Two Sag’s this year will collect vests
Sweatshirt hand out at school. Not flexible on sizes till end of event.
Order Port- a- Potties – NW corner by dumpster
Mitch Gross will set up cones on Fairlawn. Jared to come back to town before the race bring
Last bus will leave at 10:30. Paul has all signs
Awards ceremony at 2pm – Brad will announce
Some one will need to help handing out awards and passports- good time to stamp
Passports: Becky printed more and need to bring to race.
Mary Anne will update welcome letter and start sending e-mails to new members
Update renewal form with section for employer information,
