Paul Wagner has arranged for the Striders to use the Washburn University track for Interval workouts starting on Tuesday evenings at 5:45 to 7:00 pm.
The Striders and Trail runners will both be participating again this year in cleaning up trash during the regularly scheduled run on Wednesday March 21st. The day before Earth Day.
Kevin Lemasters spoke a little bit about his goal of building and growing the running community through partnership with GPRC, the Striders, the Trail Runners, and the Washburn Running Group. Although GPRC is still working on repairing things with all of it’s vendors, overall business is up from last year. The store plans on having a customer appreciation night after they have caught up on inventory. They are inviting feedback from patrons as to how the store can better serve the community. In general the store would like to help bond the running community.
John Patch announced that he will be moving to K.C in the near future. Due to the move he is giving his resignation as Vice President.
The next board meeting will be held on 4/11 at Bakers Dozen.Submitted by Debbie Pryor, Secretary
