Sunflower Striders Board Meeting Minutes
January 7, 2007
All Board Members Present
Guests: Bob Wenger, Becky Collins
The majority of the meeting was spent discussing the details of Topeka to Auburn Half Marathon and finalizing plans of operation. We went over each members’ duties regarding the race.
Sharon will take over planning of the annual banquet.
Becky Collins discussed her plans for the newsletter, taking over the duties of newsletter publication. Sarah Schwartz Larison will edit newsletter articles. Before the close of the meeting, Sharon called Lana to discuss newsletter publication and give Lana Becky and Sarah’s e-mail addresses so the three of them could stay in touch regarding items of interest to the Club since Lana is publishing the weekly e-mail update.
The Board decided that a gift should be given to Margie Rogers for her many years’ work on publishing the Club newsletter.
