Bert Nash has hosted the Nash Dash since 2002 and for our 60th Anniversary in 2010 we started a new tradition with new 5K & 10K race routes and a great post-race celebration!
Local and visiting runners will get a chance to run through (and up and down) some of the most historic and unique parts of Lawrence. Both routes will begin and end in Downtown Lawrence on the 600 block of Massachusetts Streets.
Back by popular demand will be the "Hill Challenge"! This race within a race will provide an individual "hill time" for each runner. Prizes will be awarded for fastest hill time for both men and women.
There will be live music, street entertainment and children's activities in the 600 block of Massachusetts that will continue until about 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public – so everyone can come cheer you on after a spectacular race!
