CASA is a nationwide movement of community volunteers who speak for abused and neglected children in court. The organization was founded in 1977 by David W. Soukup, presiding judge for KingCounty Superior Court in Seattle, WA.
Now in its 33rd year, CASA has expandedto include 940 programs in all 50 states,the District of Columbia, and the Virgin
Islands. Over 68,000 men and womenare CASA volunteers. Last year these volunteers spoke for an estimated 240,000
abused and neglected children in court.
The Delta Eta chapter of KSU hosts WildKAT Chase with high hopes of continuing the fraternity’s long time tradition of excellent financial and community support of CASA.
