Wichita's premier fall event is directed by the Greater Wichita Sports Commission.
Run or walk the Oregon Trail. Distances include 1.5 mile run/walk and 5k and 10k run/walk/bike. Finisher award to all entrants.
Proceeds for this event benefit the Flint Hills Community Clinic.
The half marathon is a MAR Grand Prix race and both the marathon and half marathon are part of the I-35 challenge, with the Des Moines Marathon and Half being held the following day.

The 8k, starting at 9 AM, is a MARA Grand Prix event and is contested along the scenic byway of Cliff Drive.

All proceed benefit the Topeka Rescue Mission, which provides shelter for more than 6000 individuals annually. The race precedes the annual downtown holiday parade.

34th annual race from the capital city of Kansas to the town of Auburn along city streets and country roads. Great volunteer support along the course, including 5 aid stations. Cash awards for top overall and age graded masters finishers along with new course records. Free post-race pancake feed at Auburn Elementary School. Proceeds benefit local high school cross county and track programs.
